The site is delivered through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Their systems may process your IP address, time, requested URL, referrer, browser and device information, response status and security signals to deliver, stabilise and protect the service.

Purpose: delivery, stability, abuse prevention and security. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in operating a secure publication.

Operational and security logs are retained only for the period needed for delivery, abuse prevention, incident response and applicable legal obligations, according to the providers’ documented retention schedules. We do not use server logs to build advertising profiles.

Google Analytics is loaded only after you actively accept analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Analytics may process online identifiers, IP-derived location, browser and device information, visited pages, referrer information and interactions with stories and tools. It may set _ga and _ga_* cookies. The purpose is to understand readership and improve the publication. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 165(3) TKG 2021.

Advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalisation and Google Signals remain disabled. We do not send pasted advert text, submitted marketplace URLs, VINs, vehicle-identifying information or free-form tool content to Google Analytics.

GA4 user-level and event data are retained for no longer than 14 months. Depending on the recipient and context, transfers outside the EEA rely on an applicable adequacy decision, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified recipients, or Standard Contractual Clauses. Your analytics choice and its timestamp are stored locally in this browser for up to 12 months, unless you change it earlier or clear browser storage. It is not used as a user identifier.

Rejecting analytics does not restrict access. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time. Withdrawal applies for the future.

Change cookie preferences

The service planner and its preview prepare a plan in your browser. They use this tab’s session storage to remember your selected help and answers, which may include listing links, a vehicle description, location and preferred timing. The public planner’s “Start a new plan” button clears its previous answers. Closing the tab normally ends the session; your browser may restore it when reopening tabs.

No enquiry is submitted to a FE/WD application database. Copying puts the prepared message on your device’s clipboard. Opening the prepared WhatsApp link passes its text to WhatsApp; you then review and send it in the chat. The operator receives the enquiry after you send it. The purpose and handling of service enquiries are explained below. The planner itself does not load Google Analytics.

The public advert decoder, DSG identifier and drive-home checker are currently unavailable. The editorial guides remain accessible. We will update this notice before reintroducing tools with a different data flow.

The Ukrainian-car form prepares a message in this browser tab. Preparing or editing the draft does not submit it to our server or save it in browser storage. Copying puts the text on your device’s clipboard. Refreshing or leaving the page may lose the draft.

Opening WhatsApp with the draft passes its text to WhatsApp in a prefilled link. This is a transfer to WhatsApp even before you send the chat message. You can instead copy the text, open an empty chat and paste it yourself. Denis Komissarov, the controller named above, receives your enquiry when you send it in WhatsApp to +43 676 3906523. Opening a chat is not a confirmed enquiry or booking.

The message may contain your VIN, first registration date, date of entry into Austria, residence/status category, COC/CO₂ information and vehicle or ownership details. WhatsApp also provides the contact/profile information associated with your message. Photos of the Ukrainian registration certificate are attached by you in WhatsApp; this website has no photo-upload field. Please share only what is needed for the car assessment, and do not send identity documents or unrelated personal information through this form.

We use the information you send to assess the vehicle’s possible registration route, reply to your request and agree any services. For steps you request before entering a service contract and for performing an agreed contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry or agreed work; records needed to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims may be kept for the applicable period. You can ask the controller about retention or deletion using the contact details above.

For users in the European Region, WhatsApp is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited and processes information under its own privacy policy, including its rules on retention and international transfers. If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, you can email denkomissarov@gmail.com.

Only with analytics consent, FE/WD records draft preparation, successful copying and clicks to WhatsApp, with the article language and button location. These events do not include the VIN, dates, residence/status, photos, message text or the prefilled message URL. A recorded click or draft is not proof that a message was sent or received.

Car Inspection Austria is a paid commercial service operated by Denis Komissarov. After analytics consent, FE/WD may record that a commercial link was followed, including its destination path and campaign label. Tool input is never included. Destination websites process requests under their own privacy policies.

Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, withdraw consent and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Requests may be sent to denkomissarov@gmail.com.
